Leading the Charge for Christ
Cheri and I have the awesome privilege and honor of leading Healing Hands not only at our home church in Baton Rouge but also into the surrounding communities of Donaldsonville, St. Amant, and St. Francisville.
This past Sunday evening Healing Place Church had its semi-annual vision night. The theme of the evening was sports. Our campus pastors interviewed and announced the evening from a sports booth set up. Healing Hands was chosen as a spotlight ministry for the St. Francisville campus and we got to lead the charge for Christ busting through a banner by that name.
It reminded me of my old high school football days when we ran out into the field ready and pumped to battle our opponent. In St. Francisville, we are pulling people off the bench and taking walk-ons. This team is leading those that enter the clinic to Christ with love, compassion, and healing in our hands. Our victory is in Christ and we celebrate that victory every time we travel out.
Dr. Cheri and I would like to express our heart felt gratitude to the many volunteers that make up Healing Hands at each location. This night was more about you than us, and we do it all together for the glory of Christ.
Serving Him by serving others,
Joseph and Cheri
